PVC OR PRINTED PVC? CHOOSE THE RIGHT PATCH

Is it better to have a patch made entirely of PVC or one with a digital print? It depends on the type of starting image, the difference is all in the graphics.

What to consider when preparing a graphic

Some graphic features are not compatible with PVC processing, so if necessary an adaptation will be made to make the patch.
These are just some of the features that we have to evaluate, in order to be able to proceed with production, when we receive the layout.

- Lines that are too thin - They risk not being visible in the finished product.
- Shading and colour gradients - These cannot be reproduced; PVC only provides for solid colours.
- Very small details - They may be barely legible or blurred.
- Extremely elaborate elements

PVC only: relief and simplicity

The PVC-only patch is ideal for simple logos and clean graphics.
The patches are constructed with layers of coloured material in relief. The result is a three-dimensional effect*, solid look, great durability.

Printing on PVC: maximum fidelity

With the print option, the image is imprinted directly onto the PVC surface. faithful reproduction of every detail, no colour limits. Perfect for complex illustrations, gradients and colourful logos. Embossed elements + printing If the graphic allows it, certain details, such as lettering or borders, can be embossed in PVC, while the rest of the graphic is digitally printed on a flat surface. The result? A patch with a balanced mix of three-dimensional effect and graphic richness, perfect for highlighting a specific element without sacrificing intricate detail.

Print + 3D: the best of both worlds

Want to combine a three-dimensional effect and printed graphics? It can be done! With 3D surface printing, the image can also be imprinted directly on top of the embossed parts. The result is a patch with depth, volume and maximum graphic richness, ideal for complex logos, textures and dynamic visual effects.
